The current owners acquired Goodland Estate in the 1990s. While restoring it as a working farm after a devistating fire they fell in love with its pocket of pristine Bushveld. A passion was born for both preserving and sharing this beauty. We believe that to experience nature is to be blessed by it. And that having been blessed by nature is the best incentive to preserve it.
Our Vision for Goodland Estate is to provide a platform for people to reconnect with the Creator in His Creation.

Jansie is the daughter of the founders, Eugene and Lalie Fourie. She has been working at Goodland since 2006. Her passion is to see God’s children connecting with their Heavenly Father in His beautiful creation. Jansie handles bookings for bush camping, hiking and day visits.
Danie van der Merwe of TD Promotions provides an off-site booking service for Goodland Fountain and Casa Riparia group accommodation.
Lukas Kgonoti is the customer liaison and caretaker at Goodland Fountain. He shows visitors around during site visits and receives groups at arrival. During our visitors’ stay Lukas is there to make sure they have everything they need. He also fields questions regarding room allocations, furniture, bedding, kitchen equipment, water, gas and power.
Eugene and Lalie Fourie are the founders of Goodland Estate. They live in the fenced compound on the northern side of Goodland Fountain and provide back-up assistance to Lukas in his efforts to make visitors as comfortable as possible. They welcome visits from camp leaders.
The Team
Goodland Estate is a Christian establishment that has been dedicated to the Lord. We have been blessed so richly by the Lord that we earnestly seek to channel this blessing to everyone who comes through our gates. We have also been blessed very richly by visiting groups who have established ‘places of worship’ through their committed worship on our land. We sincerely wish every visitor to be touched by the living presence of the Lord on our land, and to experience his blessing, peace, healing and regeneration.
We believe that every visitor passing through has an impact and makes a difference – either positively or negatively. We are deeply grateful for every thought, word or deed that actively seeks to honor the Lord’s presence on our land. And we are deeply concerned about anything that casually or purposefully dishonors Him. In this vein we actively discourage excessive use of alcohol, music that is heard outside the walls of the building where it is played, noisy quadbikes, littering, etc. And we welcome every visitor who reveres and enjoys this wonderful world created for and entrusted to us.
